After Max Payne 3, is Rockstar ready with GTA 5?

Rockstar Games which is busy in the promotion rounds of Max Payne 3 can be easily expected to prepare its next instalment of GTA which is due for a release in October 2012. Although, there are still rumours circulating regarding the delay in its release and possible dates surfacing in May 2013. Although, the internet is abuzz with posts regarding the release date estimated in the Fall of 2012, Rockstar has maintained its status quo over a long period of time. Even as the gaming major is busy with its latest creation, the multiplayer Max Payne 3, the agency is busy with the marketing work of the franchise.

Recently, it had a preview of the game organised at New York where it showcased the game and its various features for gaming pros and enthusiasts. It also released a TV commercial for the edition which was premiered during the Lakers Game on ESPN. And that’s not all, Rockstar along with Marvel Comics has released a three-part comic series detailing the life of Payne and his struggle with alcohol and drugs. Now that Max has got its share of due attention, will Rockstar return to its original creation GTA and prepare its release. Fans are posting across various forums regarding the discovery of Xbox listings about the game in different stores and many are mentioning that they have pre-ordered at various locations but a true confirmation is yet to be received from Rockstar. The upcoming E3 in the month of June 2012 could be a good stage to know about this edition and its details.
